A TOUR FOR MUSIC LOVERS OF ALL AGES Our long time customer favorite tour "The Sound of Austrian Music" has over the years focused on Mozart, Haydn, Schubert and Bruckner, the greats of Austrian classical music.
We will be bringing you again MOZART in Salzburg and Schubert in Wien (Vienna), adding some HAYDN in Eisenstadt.

DAY 1 |
Depart from an airport in the USA for flight to Austria. |

Salzburg
AM - Arrival at Salzburg airport, transfer to hotel with English speaking drivers Check into hotel – Hotel Am Mirabellplatz or similar. PM - Walking tour of old Town incl. Mozart's birthplace and Salzburg Cathedral.

Salzburg
Buffet breakfast at hotel AM - Half day “Sound Of Music” Tour with an English speaking guide through Salzburg and surrounding lake area including the “wedding church”. Lunch at a local restaurant PM - Free at leisure, early dinner on own (we suggest restaurants) EVE - Attend a Palace concert in the famous Marble Hall of the Mirabell Palace The Marble Hall, formerly the prince-archbishops' ballroom and concert venue for Leopold Mozart and his children Wolfgang and Nannerl, is considered to be one of the "most beautiful wedding halls in the world.. |

Salzburg/Vienna
Buffet breakfast at hotel AM - morning transfer with coach from Salzburg to Vienna with stop in St. Florian, Baroque Abbey with a short organ concert of the famous Anton Bruckner organ - lunch on own.
In Vienna check into your hotel, Hotel Kaiserhof, approx mid-afternoon PM - at leisure
EVE - Dinner at Vienna's oldest restaurant Griechenbeisl in the city' s medieval quarter. |

DAY 6 |
Vienna (program for May departures)
Buffet breakfast at hotel
AM -Half day city sightseeing in private coach with English speaking guide incl visit of Schönbrunn Palace Lunch at Restaurant Führich (behind Vienna opera) PM - Fin de siecle walking tour EVE – concert by Vienna Residenz Orchestra at Palais Auersperg performing the music of the "Wiener Klassik" in its purest form.

early Buffet breakfast at hotel
AM - Walking tour with your guide incl a visit of Vienna State Opera and Schubert Birthplace lunch on own PM - Excursion to Eisenstadt with private coach/van and English speaking guide. Visit to the Esterhazy Palace and famous Bergkirche with a guide ending with an early dinner at a local restaurant. EVE - Attend a special Haydn concert in one of the beautiful rooms of the Esterhazy Palace (where Haydn worked as a composer for the prince). Return to Vienna. AM - Attend the Vienna Boys Choir singing in a Mozart Mass at the Imperial Chapel. lunch on own PM - time to stroll about, visit another museum or have a great Viennese coffee "Melange"and a sinful pastry.
EVE- dinner at the Sky Restaurant, one with the most spectacular view of St. Stephens Cathedral and the Vienna Inner City
