A taste of Venice, ItalyThe Venetian cuisine, especially that in the city, is full of traditional dishes that are mostly made using all types of fish and vegetables, with only one limit: the seasons.

The cicchetti, the pasta dishes, the risotto - risi e bisi (the doges loved to eat that on St. Marco Day - and I grew up in Vienna eating that at my family's table), fish, seafood and meat dishes - and of course all these wonderful dishes must be accompanied by Venetian wines: Prosecco di Conegliano,Valpolicella, Bianco di Custoza and Amarone.

NOTE: Herzerl Tours now also offers classes for very small groups (such as two people) with our wonderful Venetian Private Chef, Signora Maria Grazia in her Venetian Villa
